The WaterRower Oxbridge (S4) Rowing Machine * Rower is hand-crafted in solid Cherrywood. Like all woods, Cherrywood may vary in color from a red-brown to deep red, darkening in color with exposure to light. All Oxbridge in Cherrywood (S4) components are kept in light-free rooms to prevent shadowing. A new WaterRower Oxbridge (S4) Rowing Machine * Rower will therefore appear quite light in color, darkening over time to a rich reddish hue. Each machine has been hand-finished with three coats of Danish Oil, giving a deep lustre and warmth to the wood. The wood on the rower has been chosen due to its marvelous engineering properties.

After exposure to light, the chlorine will degrade and the chlorine tablets included free with the WaterRower Oxbridge in Cherrywood (S4) should be added periodically.
